Lose the snooze: 5 tips for a more productive day


1. Make breakfast

Studies have shown that eating a healthy breakfast – as opposed to donuts can help give you:

  • a more nutritionally complete diet, higher in nutrients, vitamins and minerals.
  • Improved concentration and performance in the boardroom or classroom.
  • More strength and endurance to engage in physical activity.


2. Listen to Beyonce

When it comes to female empowerment, there is nobody greater than Queen Bey. Her catchy pop hits can help set the tone for a more productive day. A favourite quote of mine is “You and Beyonce have the same 24 hours in a day.” With that in mind, I am motivated to reach my full potential and push myself to achieve the goals that seem so far away on a Monday morning.
